Executive Director’s Message – December 2024
As we approach the end of the year, we find ourselves in a season of reflection—a time to cherish our relationships and give back to the community that supports us. At the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute, we recognize the invaluable role of family and friends in the cancer care journey. November is National Family Caregivers Month, a time for us to honor and celebrate the dedication and compassion you offer to those in need.
This holiday season, our mission is to bring joy to our patients and their families. We are excited to continue our programs that foster connections among patients, as well as provide opportunities for the community to learn more about the benefits of proton therapy and the compassionate care available at our Institute.
We are happy to announce that our annual holiday celebration will feature Santa Joe once again this year. His jolly spirit brings immense joy to the children undergoing treatment at the Institute, and his presence is a highlight for everyone in our building.
As you celebrate this season with your loved ones, we wish you peace, joy and warmth. Thank you for your support of the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute this year.
