2025 Accomplishments and Professional Milestones
The staff and faculty at the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute are dedicated to providing quality and compassionate health care to our patients. In 2025, we reached the milestone of treating our 12,000th patient with proton therapy here at the Institute. We could not do that without every single team member working together.
In addition, our team members continue to seek advancements in their professional careers to stay at the forefront of cancer care. Here are some accomplishments, awards and achievements that our team achieved in 2025:
Kendra Victoria, BSN, Pediatric Case Manager:
- Earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
Magory Dolcy, MPH, Clinical Research Coordinator:
- Completed the AI for Work and Life certification from the University of North Florida
Cristina Bremer, MPH, CPH, COMPPARE Research Manager:
- Completed the AI for Work and Life certification from the University of North Florida
Brittany Kennedy, BHS, MHA, Clinical Research Coordinator:
- Completed the AI for Work and Life certification from the University of North Florida
Michael Vieceli, PhD, 1st Year Resident, UF Medical Physics program:
- Successfully defended his PhD dissertation defense on April 15, 2025
Bobby Waldrip, CMD, RT(T), Certified Medical Dosimetrist:
- Passed the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board Exam
Danny Indelicato, MD:
- Appointed to the University of Florida Academic Freedom, Tenure, Professional Relations and Standards Committee
- Named Vice Chair of the ASTRO Pediatric Scientific Committee
