Kerri Copeland Jarrell, APRN is a radiation oncology nurse practitioner with the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute. Her focus is on supporting patients in their survivorship journey after the completion of proton therapy radiation. Ms. Jarrell has over twelve years of experience working with adults, with a focus on educating patients to improve their health and well-being.
Ms. Jarrell completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Nursing at the University of Florida in Gainesville and Jacksonville. As a Certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, she has extensive experience working with people to improve their overall health as they age. Ms. Jarrell has a wide array of professional experience and training in family medicine, oncology, endocrinology, ambulatory care centers, and progressive care units.
Kerri Copeland Jarrell, APRN is a member of the Florida Nurses Association, the Oncology Nursing Society, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with nurses as they start their careers, at one point as an instructor with Chamberlain University, where she was the course lead for the Fundamentals of Nursing didactic and clinical learning.

Kerri Copeland Jarrell, APRN is committed to cancer survivorship research to improve the quality of life of patients physically and mentally as they move past cancer treatments.
As a Nurse Practitioner, one of my favorite quotes is the one from Maya Angelou, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” My goal is to help each patient feel comfortable, reassured in the care they are receiving, and confident as they move forward as a cancer survivor.
